The tennis season is in full swing and the varsity team has been working long and hard preparing to advance into the bi-district round of competition.

“In team tennis every game is district. If you are in the top four schools at the end of the season you move on to bi-district,” said Coach Sarah Parsons.

With help and encouragement for coaches and teammates they believe they are more than qualified to move onto the next round. The players are also going above and beyond preparing for bi-district.

“I am starting to get back with my old trainer to work on a lot of new techniques,”said Reagan Moriarty.

While they are very focused on winning their coach hopes they learn something more. “I want them to learn something on the courts that they can apply in their life while also having fun,” said coach Parsons.

This sport is more than just game, this is a group that loves and supports each other in everything they do, inside of tennis and out.
